Welcome to the library! I am excited to be here in my 5th year as the school librarian. One of my greatest joys is helping students discover books they love and connecting each child with the perfect story to spark their imagination, curiosity, and livelong love of reading.
I earned my Master of Education in Instructional Technology with a School Librarian Certificate from Georgia Southern University. Before becoming a school librarian, I worked in public libraries, where I developed a passion for serving readers of all ages and creating welcoming spaces for learning and exploration, as well as planning and leading storytimes for the youngest patrons and their families.
In the media center, students enjoy engaging read-alouds, lessons that support classroom learning, and opportunities to explore new books and resources. My goal is to create a library where every student feels welcome, inspired, and excited to learn.
