Weather Watch: No Jan. 31 Activities

We are closely monitoring the next round of winter weather expected this weekend for our area. Based on the forecast and after consulting with local emergency teams, all extra-curricular activities for Saturday, Jan. 31, have been canceled.

Any decision concerning our Monday school schedule will be shared with families no later than Sunday evening through email/text messages, our websites, social media, and local media stations. If you are not receiving our direct messages, please check your contact information in the Parent Portal.

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL

2024-25 School Year Information

Our program is designed to support the needs of both children and parents by offering a structured, engaging, and supportive setting before and after the regular school hours. We offer a variety of activities including homework assistance, arts and crafts, sports, games, and more, all aimed at promoting your child's social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Monday - Friday  (When BCSS is in session)

When Barrow County Schools are closed, the childcare program will be closed. The program follows the BCSS school calendar. If school closes during the day for emergency reasons, the information provided on the Emergency Instructions form will be followed. If the program is open three or more days during that week, then the regular rates will apply. If the program is only open two days or less during that week, then the rates will be prorated.
 

  • Before Care: 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM
  • After School: 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM
     

Parents may pick up their child(ren) at any time during these hours, but parents must pay full fees regardless of how many days/hours the child(ren) participat(s).
