Ag Week
While the actual Ag week is March 23-26, BES will be celebrating it a week early to coincide with our STEAM night event. We are excited to feature the many ways agriculture influences our lives, and we have planned some themed days for our students and staff.
STEAM Night
Please join us on March 19 for a fantastic evening celebrating science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics!
Field Day Shirts
Get ready for one of the most exciting days of the school year - Field Day! Field Day will be Friday, April 17th. It will be a day full of fun, games, and laughter! Show off your grade level spirit with your class color! Shirts are only available via pre-order - check them out here: https://besfieldday2026.itemorder.com/shop/home/ The last day to order a Field Day shirt is March 27th.
Georgia Milestones Parent Resources
Please take some time to review the GMAS resources for students and parents. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will take these assessments in April/May.
This month’s focus is Cooperation. One way to think about Cooperation is “working together to reach shared goals.”

Please take a few moments to complete the following two surveys.
Survey #1: GA School Climate Survey- https://survey.gadoe.org/FM?sid=14E84636 This survey was developed to measure parent perceptions of school climate. The survey should take about 10 minutes.
Survey #2: BCSS Parent Comprehensive Needs Assessment Survey- https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx... Feedback from this survey is valuable to school and district improvement planning processes for the 2026-2027 school year.
Your opinion is very important to us! We’re eager to hear your feedback so we can celebrate what’s working well and identify opportunities for growth. Thank you for your time and participation!
